"Our family of 5 stayed in two cabins in late December 2023 and had a great time. The cabins were clean and the beds were very comfortable. Each had a porch looking out over fields and the Macal River. Manon was a fantastic host. She gave us great recommendations on places to eat in San Ignacio and things to do in the Cayo Region. The Lodge is down a dirt road that is very bumpy (like most roads in the region) and became very muddy because of the rain so we parked about 1/3 mile from the lodge...

"We arrived at 7:35, it was dark and kinda sketchy. We drove up a really dangerous incline and washboarded dirt road to get to a locked gate and no one answering the phone or a honk. We contacted expedia..aka....a robot....and they proceeded to tell me even though i payed the insurance for this exact reason that the people wouldnt give my money back....and they couldnt contact them yet they leave this ad for this property up. Not ok and wont be using this service again. "

"This place was better then we could have hoped for. Owner met us when we arrived gave a tour of wildlife and plants and our bungalow. David, Owner, was very accommodating and easy to speak to. Knowledgeable about places to go and things to do. There’s no tv so the only noises was the breezes and the birds. Very peaceful.
