"This was a magical place and definitely worth a visit. After visiting Palermo this was the peaceful retreat we were looking for. Our host was absolutely wonderful - he greeted us outside, brought our luggage up to the room and promptly offered us cappuccinos with fresh home-made cookies that he then brought up to our room and set it up on the balcony so we could enjoy the views. He provided tour guides/maps and recommended local restaurants and even called to make a last minute reservation for us for dinner. The house is gorgeous and was beautifully decorated for Christmas. Our room was beautiful, spacious and clean with the best variety of toiletries we had on our whole tour of Sicily. Our balcony and view was incredible. Our breakfast each day was fabulous with fresh local cheeses, meats and a variety of homemade jams and freshly baked bread and warm torta. Our host was lovely and I wish we could have stayed there forever. "

"Loved the villa type atmosphere with a very home-y staff. Very family oriented and unique. B, L & D meals were all prepared by a family of cooks (“the Mamas”) and truly fabulous tasting. Only spent 1 day there and wish we spent 2-3 days. A/C could have been colder as we were there during a 93F temps with very high humidity. But they have a pool in the back and a plunge pool in front. Great for a cigar outside at night. Would definitely go back and highly recommend this warm & friendly resort. "

"We had an amazing experience at Casale Margherita. Very easy to get in touch with via WhatsApp, scheduled taxi rides for us to surrounding areas for a fee. The gentlemen that drove us to a surrounding city and again to the bus station the next day was so wonderful, brought us for a traditional Sicilian coffee and cannoli nearby. The pool was incredible. Would highly recommend. "

"We had a super 2 weeks in this villa. Giuseppe is a brilliant host. From day 1 communication was helpful and prompt. All information was passed on at the relevant point. He could not have been better. The villa is really well-equipped and comfortable. The pool was a real boon when the weather was hot and was well maintained and cleaned every few days. The villa was easy to find and was well placed to access a lot of local sites. Thank you, Giuseppe for a fantastic holiday."
