"This was my first time staying at a motel and in a completely new city at that and I am glad I chose to stay at Townhouse. After having read some of the reviews on Google, I feel like the service and staff has greatly improved from the past. I booked a standard king room and was quite pleased. I kept my expectations low to begin with and hence wasn't disappointed. The motel was fully booked up and so I couldn't check in as early as I would've wanted but Andy at front desk checked me in an hour...

Park Side Cafe has really upgraded, superb bakery, excellent chef. Breakers Cafe also very good. Bookstore and library close at hand, and Mt. Tam is just across thge street with world class coastal view trails and redwoods. Stinson Beacch Market is well-stocked — including fresh vegetables — and has friendly staff members. "
