"As with other reviews the hotel can be difficult to locate as it is off the main road. Initially on entering the hotel I was taken aback by the small size of the reception area. "I travel regularly in Italy for business. On this occasion due to a late meeting I missed the last train home and was forced to stay the night. I was treated as a massive inconvenience for the staff. In particular the late night porter who was shockingly lecturing, patronising and sarcastic. I’ve enjoyed many stays in Italian hotels and without exception the staff have been excellent. This was exceptionally awful, I shall not be returning. "
