"The resort is located on the side of the hill so you could see down in the valley, which is very beautiful in the morning. The rooms are very clean spacious bathrooms. The resort also has parking lot. The drive to the resort is windy, twisty uneven roads I was the only thing that I didn’t like But the resort itself is amazing. "

"It was kinda in the middle of the boonies. But has amazing views. Staff has a hard time speaking english but we found a way to understand each other. Overall had a lovely experience. Make sure you make transportation plans in advance it is impossible to find a taxi and buses will not get you to this location. "

"Our experience at this beautiful hotel was exceptional. We stayed in the Presidential Suite, and it was absolutely perfect – from the luxurious Jacuzzi to the spacious, well-appointed shower. Every detail exceeded our expectations. Breakfast was delicious with a wide variety of options, and the entire property is truly special, nestled in the charming heart of San Gemini. We had a wonderful time and can’t wait to return!"

"We had a wonderful time staying at Maria Rosa’s as a family of 6 with 4 kids 11 & younger. It was a great price & had everything we needed for a week long stay. It was a nice place to use as a home base for exploring the area of Umbria (Don’t miss Assisi! It is amazing!) There was a well loved pool table & foosball table that our kids greatly enjoyed. We were able to cook with all the pots & pans we needed & the water was hot for showers. Keep in mind you definitely need a car & this is a well loved & well lived in flat so you get what you pay for which we were grateful for. Our highlight was walking up the road & watching the sun rise! The pool looked like it would be enjoyable if you stayed during the hot season, we missed out on that but stayed cozy with the wall heaters instead. If you are looking for a space to make a home base during your exploration of Umbria & also love the peace & beauty of being nestled in olive groves, this is it! Thanks Maria Rosa! "
