"The staff was very helpful and friendly. The building could use a service elevator. I cut my foot on the kick plate at the bottom of the door to our room. I asked the front desk for a bandaid, which they promptly got some for me. The General Manager saw my bleeding foot, and walked in by without saying a word to me. That was very disappointing and unprofessional. I've been in customer service roles for 25+ years and that was very disheartening. Luckily, it wasn't worse than it was. "

"The house is in a great location, close to restaurants, freeway and a park to walk dogs or take children to play. Quiet neighborhood, easy parking in the driveway. Super cute interior with nice amenities and comfy beds. Highly recommend a stay here. "

"We had a wonderful stay at this property! The host was very communicative and organized, making the check-in and check-out process incredibly simple and smooth. They also provided fantastic local recommendations that really helped us make the most of our trip. The location is perfect — centrally located, with almost everything in San Diego just a quick 20-minute drive away. One of the best parts of our stay was the amazing outdoor space. It was so inviting and comfortable that we found ourselves spending more time outside than inside. We would definitely stay here again!"

Restful, quiet and perfect for my needs.

"This is an older property that has gone through recent upgrades and retrofits. The 'suite' was clean and fresh. Minifridge, that was really cold, was a bonus. They also have a light breakfast _ waffles, oatmeal, cold cereal, bagels, toast, yogurt, coffee, OJ and water_ from 6am-10am. BONUS! Staff are friendly and helpful. Well-lit parking lot, clean pool and a great sushi place next door. Around 2am, an alarm near the door started to beep. I called the front desk and he was there in a few minutes to remove it (one of several smoke detectors) and replace the batteries. I was attending a conference at the convention center. Lamplighter was much more affordable. About a 20 min Uber drive."

Good Hotel Stay

"Nice clean hotel. Bed was comfortable. House keeping service every day. Room faced the freeway and was noisey from frwy traffic, but not too loud for me to fall asleep. Hotel restaurant had a good breakdfast buffet, about $25. Only Wendy's and Denny's within walking distance. "
