"Located on the central Piazza the hotel was very convenient to the church and many fine restaurants. The hotel restaurant for breakfast offered a breathtaking view of the town and surrounding Tuscan countryside. The food was fresh, and included a large assortment of breakfast cakes and pies, cheeses, meats, and fantastic espresso and capuchino. Our room had large windows opening up to an amazing view of San Gimignano."

"Beautiful property. We did horseback riding which was a highlight and the cooking class was fantastic. The pool was relaxing and beautiful. The rooms were clean and comfortable- literally felt like home!! We would go there again for sure. Incredibly relaxing experience."

"Lovely hotel in a fabulous location. Right in the main square of beautiful San Gimignano. Walk right out your door to all the action. We were there during a big festival and couldn’t hear anything from our room that had a valley view. Breakfast was also excellent. Bringing your car into the city to drop off your luggage is challenging for people not used to driving in ancient walled cities! Stop at the red lights in the city even if you don’t see a reason to. After dropping off your luggage you will need to park just outside the city walls. We had a good time having drinks in the square at the bar next to the hotel entrance. "

"We arranged for transportation from train station Poggibonsi which serves San Gimignano to hotel with return after our stay. Excellent service. Hotel staff always helpful. Located inside gates of old city with wonderful local restaurants and coffee shops. Good breakfast buffet option. We stayed in lots of hotels on our trip to Italy and this one is favorably memorable. "Absolutely loved the experience we had with this spa villa! Beautiful grounds pools and dinning experience. Staff were very welcoming and always attentive. My only negative thought on this property would be the cost to using the spa at 40 euros pp not per room. Otherwise an exceptional stay!"

"This is not an hotel or a Bed and Breakfast but a working farm (vineyard and olive groves) with a beautiful guesthouse with comfortable basic bedrooms. The dinners are family style for each room/group and there is only one menu per evening. The dinners were delicious and the wine was very good. There were activities you could sign up for as well. But the greatest part of the property is the views of the vineyards, olive groves, and the Tuscan countryside. Absolutely gorgeous and so peaceful. The family who owns it and their staff were all friendly and helpful. We felt renewed after staying there."
