"Read the small print! First look said it had a pool, whole house to yourself , washer and dryer at 20$ a load? A/C did not work, TV remote was broken, no streaming ? Place needs some TLC. Gas stove was a little scary and ran out. Water pressure was horrible (except the outdoor shower, that was good, electric power showed water in port in American I phones . "Overall, this is an amazing property. The only issue we had was the lack of fans to move air. All of the structures on the property are open air and have no central air conditioning so the addition of fully functioning ceiling fans is very important. The fan in the main room did not work at all and other ceiling fans seem to not move much air."

"Yves was a super host. The best. Very responsive and went way beyond in helpfulness. The property is fairly close to a highway so there is ambient noise. Location is otherwise excellent. Property itself is very well kept with beautiful gardens. Would definitely recommend. "

"The primary reason to stay in this casita is the location and the stunning views. The garden is beautiful with a path that opens to La Playa Negra. The beach is quiet and private and absolutely breathtaking. We were able to spot the sloth in the garden on a few occasions and had an up close view of him moving once which was very special. As previously mentioned in reviews, there was a bottle of wine and chocolate waiting for us. We were met to check in and get acclimated to the environment....

"We loved our stay at Las Casas - it was our own slice of paradise. The pictures don’t do it justice. One thing to note there is no games room or yoga deck but we didn’t mind as we had more space than we knew what to do with. There were so many wild animals passing through we were in heaven and the staff couldn’t have been better. Hoping we can return again one day."

I made several inquiries to the host weeks before my arrival, only receiving a reply the day I was in route to the area. "Waking up to the sounds of the beach is amazing! Just a short walk down through their beautiful garden with a resident sloth is the black sand and warm waves. The room was quite comfortable. The bathroom could use a couple more hooks for wet items since things take a while to dry. The property managers are extremely responsive to any concerns and very welcoming!"
