"The worst hotel ever - I actually think it was being used as accommodation for owners while renovations were taking place. It was not even the hotel advertised, it was across the road. Although clean, the room was unfinished. There were old doors stacked on the wall, covered by a sheet, a stack of ikea items and the drawers were full of personal items including sanitary towels and a bra and pants. There was only one towel and one pillow each, and no option for more.Also nowhere for clothes.Just...

"Located in an old palace in downtown Rome, this hotel is in a perfect location. My girlfriend and I stayed here for a single night prior to departure from Rome to the US. The location is perfect since the hotel is downtown next to a ton of restaurants, and is conveniently located next to a Taxi stand (down the alley) for the early morning flight to the US."

"I enjoyed my stay at Il Covo. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, making my visit pleasant. However, there was a sewer-like smell that occasionally seeped into the room, prompting me to keep the windows open. This would be problematic during the hot summer or cold winter days. Additionally, after my first night, I only had access to one clean towel daily. Overall, I liked this place and would consider staying again if I could be assured of more towels and a room without any...

"The staff was super friendly and very helpful. We were having problems getting the AC going and called the front desk for help. The young lady came right away and fixed it for us. She also later on helped with reservations for dinner and to get a taxi to get there. Pretty safe area close to many restaurants and sites to visit."

"We really enjoyed our stay at Feliz in Roma. Check in was simple and quick, owners were communicative and the room was comfy and a good size. Location is excellent, walking distance from the colleseum and forum and has easy transport links to termini, Vatican city and Trastevere if you do not want to walk further. Also plenty of restaurants on the street/nearby. Breakfast could be improved as it was dried breads and packaged cakes. I understand it is difficult without a staff member present to...
