"This hotel could be fabulous, but there are a few teething problems still. No balcony furniture, had to request this. Husband cut his foot on parasol base, razor sharp edges on metal parts. The response from the onsite manager and team was very good though. No sauce pans in rooms despite there being a hob! Had to request this from reception. No instructions for microwave / oven or dishwasher (which had no cutlery holder). Bed is comfortable, though pillows a little firm for my liking. Breakfast...

"The place is nice. The staff is good. Given the place far away from anything, I did not see the value. Also,the taxi could not find the place on google maps. Need to search for glow hotel. The place should be about 20% cheaper. Location is not good at all. Again clean and good staff."

"I honestly have nothing against the hotel itself. It was great and so were the staff there! They run a very efficient and clean establishment with a small pool (more for adults than kids) and connection to an Indian restaurant that does the breakfast. They also have a good gym that is small but has everything one might need. The hotel is also very close to a train station. My only issue with the hotel is that the area it is in is rough. "This is the best hotel I ever stayed in Bangkok. I stay here with my wife around 4 to 5 times a year. The staff is so great. This hotel I very love it. It feels like home to me. They like to give us an upgrade to 2 bedroom suit but only me and my wife stay there. We don’t need an extra room. I would prefer we get free breakfast instead for the upgrade. "

"The apartment was spacious and clean. The breakfast was worth pre booking with enough options for us. Ok for families but not the best. The shower was impossible to use if you were not a tiny person. Tuk Tuk service was great. Basic apartment set up that was helpful for making food. Staff was very kind and helpful "

"Somerset Park team were excellent and so helpful - always. The room service was also really good - noticeable how clean the room was each day. Gym was well equipped. Pool was very pleasant. The room was a little tired and probably time for some renovation."

"The hotel is a very large hotel with its building one of Bangkok skyline. We stayed on the 43rd floor and had an excellent view of Bangkok. The room is clean, quiet and tended to on a daily basis. The hotel staffs are efficient, polite and helpful. a BTS sky train is close by and within walking distance. There is no convenient store in the area and one has to walk several blocks to find one. Airport link station is rather far from the hotel and one has to connect through a few BTS stations to get there. Otherwise, the hotel is within walking distance to main shopping areas (Siam Paragon, Siam Discovery, or Central Childlom). "

"Definitely a 5 star hotel. Nice spacious rooms ,we were upgraded to a suite. Excellent breakfast choices. Availability of shuttle service . Courteous staff . We have a very nice view of the Chao Phraya river. I would definitely choose to book a room here on our next visit. "
