"When I arrived the staff were polite and friendly, the room was well presented and clean, unfortunately there was a noticeable smell coming from the shower drain. In the evening when I used the stairs there was a fork and some food that had been spilled, this was still there in the morning. I advised the staff at reception and they sorted it."

"The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. The staff were extremely friendly. The hotel is very convenient for Bristol airport as you can walk from the hotel into the airport. The food is bistro type pub food, so don't expect haute cuisine. "

"We really enjoyed our time at the hotel and had a wonderful stay here - we're looking forward to coming back! The rooms were clean, well supplied and spacious, the staff are all incredibly helpful, friendly and kind. I was very impressed at how efficiently the hotel is run. By booking through Expedia we had breakfast included which I highly recommend - good food and sets you up for the day. Thank you so much for having us!"

"Even though from the outside, the building looks a bit rough, it is really nice inside! Would book myself again into The Royal without any hesitation should the need arise. Very good quality breakfast, nice rooms. Recommended!"

"stayed here multiple times in mulitple rooms they are all comfy and cozy the beds are soft with mulitple pillows to choose from, the room also has full sky tv ,the restaurant and bar have plenty of choice of food and drink from wines beers ciders , the staff are top quality assisting you in anyway possible and are just a phone call away using the in room phone "

"We spent 4 nights at this lodge between 28Dec-1Jan and it was excellent. From check in to check out the process was seamless and we had everything we needed. Lodge was cozy, clean and warm and the bathrooms had actually been updated so were newer and nicer than the pics. Area was lovely and quiet. Had a carvery at the Cider barn restaurant about 5 min drive away and we drove into Weston Super Mare (20 mins) and got wristbands for the pier and did ice skating. "Came here for a short stay. The bungalow was clean on arrival and all the necessaties of a home away from home facilities were in place (large fridge/freezer), cooker, TV/Wifi, shower etc and worked as expected. The bungalow was very warm and the heating a little hard to work out how to adjust to get it cooler but with the large patio door it wasn't such a problem. The place does look a little dated with some older styled furntiure but it was all comfy and for the price I have no complaints. ...
