"The staff is friendly and helpful and it's easy walking access to a variety of dining options. Rooms are a bit dated and older and they have smoking rooms so the halls have a lingering order of smoke but ok for the price. "

"I liked the guy at check in. I thought it was pretty cool they allow marijuana in the smoking rooms. I know a smiling room is going to smell, but it was a different kind of smell. Almost sour. The floor was grittu getting the dirt. "

"Very friendly staff, wonderful location a block away from the historic downtown area, and a large room with nice amenities (two TVs, fridge, microwave). The property is somewhat dated, but clean, well maintained, and upgraded. Excellent value. Will stay there again. Highly recommended ."

"My wife and I had a wonderful stay. The view is fantastic. I could sit and look out the window all day long, as the scenery is always changing. Mt. Baker and the Sisters came out beautifully on our last day. The sunrise is spectacular, and it is somehow comforting (I don't know why) to see the reliable Whatcom Chief crossing back and forth. The only slight snag was when the fireplace pilot went out due to a very windy few hours. I texted the host and she got back to me immediately with...

"This property is recently updated, has a large bathroom and fridge. We found it clean and the parking in the alley was not bad. The neighbors are not sketchy. And the home is close to a lot of nice restaurants and bars. We dined at Anthony’s that is right up the road. I would recommend this property to stay at when you visit Anacortes!"

"I have nothing but good things to say about our stay. The staff was superb, the room was wonderful. They allowed our dog to stay, which was great as well. All in all, this was a spectacular stay. Lot's of fine food to eat around the property, all well within an easy walk. There's a pretty significant amount of Vagrants and Homeless folks. However, there is also plenty of security and police. Overall, felt safe. I would most certainly stay here again and highly recommend it."
