"Fun mother/daughter getaway. The owners were very friendly and we loved playing with smoky the dog while we were there! My only points for owners to consider were 1) dust and cobwebs in the corners and 2) washer and pullout could use more attention. "

" It was comfortable and felt very homey. It is an older house however the property was in great condition and it had all the needed items for a weekend Stay. Plenty of towels and washcloths in the bathroom. Nice yard that's fenced along with a great back porch thats screened in so very pleasant to sit outside."

The fire pit area is nice, and in warmer weather it would be a nice spot to have lunch or dinner on the picnic table. Just be warned, the hill leading up to town is no joke! We absolutely would stay here again!"

"We enjoyed 3 nights at the Loverly. The home is beautiful, clean, and very welcoming! The peace and quiet of the remote location was a nice contrast to the busy atmosphere of downtown Asheville, which is a very convenient distance away. We had an unfortunate mishap with the oven, but Brea was very understanding and easy to communicate with. We have added the Loverly to our list of places we must return to as soon as possible!"

"This is at least the fifth time I’ve posted a review and/or communicated about the fact that these dates encompasses Hurricane Helene’s deadly path into the exact area of our VRBO. To think that no refund is even a consideration, even a partial one, still astounds me. We did not travel due to the storm and never set foot in the rental."

"This place is now our favorite lake getaway. Small and very cozy with well-stocked kitchen with all you need to cook your meals. The owner is wonderful and very easy to contact. "We had a lovely stay in Tryon. The house is charming, decorated so cute, and very relaxing. It was a short 15 minute walk into town and a 20 minute drive to the Tryon International Equestrian Center. We will definitely be back!"
