"The hosts bent over backwards to personalise our stay, whilst respecting our privacy. From the homemade tablet, pancakes and artwork to the birthday balloons and beers, we had a lovely break. The cabin has everything you need, and the hot tub is fantastic to soak in under the stars. We just wish we could have stayed longer to explore the area more. While the lodge itself was beautifully constructed and equipped, I was a bit disappointed to find the oven and washing machine needed cleaning before use. Additionally, I was surprised to discover that toilet paper wasn't provided, even for a self-catering...

"Very clean and well maintained property. Well furnished and equipped. Our only quibble was that the bathroom was actually en-suite with the main bedroom so with elderly people requiring a toilet during the night there was an element of intrusion. However, we were all family and coped. There is also a small step in that main bedroom that our more elderly family initially found problematic so anyone booking should be aware. "The accommodation was very spacious, clean, and ideal for a family with a dog. The garden was large and very suitable for children and pets, and ideal for outside activity - play, relaxing and eating. The location was perfect, with beautiful views, close to safe walks, and exploring the shore, as well as being just a 15 minute drive from the town of Dunoon with supermarket, cafes, restaurants, and shops."
