This lovely west facing ocean side home commands spectacular views of the ocean. Meander down a few steps to the warmest swimming beach on Salt Spring. Enjoy spectacular sunsets from the large deck. This home sits on a 1/2 acre surrounded by a mature apple orchard, providing total privacy. There are three bedrooms, two bathrooms, fully equipped kitchen, separate dining room, living room with wood burning fireplace and french doors that open onto a large deck, washer/dryer, all bedding and towels supplied.

Within a short walk, you will find a quaint village store, an oceanside restaurant and government wharf. All located in the desirable neighbourhood of Vesuvius Bay.

Salt Spring is the largest of the Gulf Islands and is an ideal vacation destination. From May to October, the town of Ganges hosts the famous Saturday outdoor market where you can buy arts and crafts, farm-fresh vegetables, island-made cheeses, and homemade treats. On Salt Spring you can also enjoy fishing, golfing, tennis, hiking, ocean kayaking, vineyards, a brewery, a cidery and a new recreation centre. The cottage is an 8 minute drive from Ganges, the heart of Salt Spring Island, where visitors can enjoy restaurants, pubs, and art galleries.

Well appointed sea side home
We loved the convenient location to ferry and shops. The decor is so lovely, had everything we needed. Grounds are beautiful, enjoyed our sea side views while sitting around the fire pit.

Drinking coffee in the morning watching the ferry go by such a relaxing stay. Clean comfortable beds,very well stock kitchen. We would highly recommend this stay. We wish we had more time .

Another great stay!
We have been lucky enough to stay here several times and have enjoyed it each time! A beautiful house and a perfect place to spend a few days with family and friends. The kitchen is well-equipped, the decor is tasteful, and the tv and ping pong table downstairs are much appreciated.

This house exceeded our expectations, it is beautiful both inside and out. It’s location is perfect, lovely views out to sea. Inside it’s spacious, well equipped and there are many lovely pieces of art and decoration. We had a great stay and will be back.

Fantastic Seaside Cottage
This home had everything we needed for a wonderful family week together. Sunsets over the ocean, beach access, sitting on the sunny deck, and cooking meals in the best stocked kitchen we’ve ever seen in a rental. Fabulous five star cottage!

We loved our time on Salt Spring Island - the house is in a great location and we were grateful to have such a wonderful home base during our stay. The house is very well equipped - the kitchen is very well stocked and the general layout is very family friendly. The proximity to the beach can't be beat! Would love to return soon!

Family getaway first time visit to Salt Spring
A beautiful property, incredibly groomed, with awesome views of the sea and incredible sunsets. An awesome kitchen, comfortable bedrooms/bathrooms and urban coastal decorating feel throughout. Nice sunroom and great outdoor patio space.and loved the outdoor fire pit. The weather was amazing and the wildlife around and about while we were there an added bonus! Close to the ferry and great location to explore the local area. We would absolutely return. Loved it.

I stayed in this lovely ocean front cottage for 4 nights and had a great time. We loved the location and enjoyed walking to the neighbourhood restaurant on our arrival evening. The kitchen was well stocked and made meal prep easy. The beds were very comfortable and we enjoyed the fireplace as well as tv and ping pong table. Would love to return!

ANNUAL GIRLS WEEKEND
We have stayed every October over the past 5 years, to soak up our long-standing girl's friendship (school graduation friends). Each stay we feel like we are coming home, the comfort, the care and location leave us wanting more. Every comfort is considered, and ongoing updating and review to improve is evident. House is well designed with all conveniences you will ever need. Only suggestions are that the number on gate be more noticeable and we missed not having Kleenex. As these are only minor observations you can see that the house is close to perfect!! Stay here - you will not be disappointed.

Outstanding property
The photos do not do this property justice. My mom and I stayed here with mother/daughter friends of ours. We all absolutely loved it. The view and location is spectacular. The home is beautifully maintained and decorated. The kitchen is very well stocked. My only teeny request for improvement is better pillows in the second and third bedrooms (the master bedroom linens were excellent). We will be back!
