"We stayed here last year on Friday night of the Labour day weekend as well. Great place...very quiet, out of the way of the main roads and highways. We have stayed in two different units and both were extremely clean, even clean smelling. Kudos to the housekeeper (we met her last year but I forget her name). The owners are also super nice and friendly. We have two kids, age 4 and 9 and found the place to be very spacious and inviting. Hoping to make this a yearly tradition of staying here Friday night and heading to St. John's the following morning for back to school shopping. Would recommend Comerford's to anyone. "

"The resort is comfortable and pleasant and the grounds are gorgeous. We loved having access to the outdoor swimming pool. The staff are excellent - gracious and kind and went out of their way to help the older members of our group who had mobility issues. The restaurant features simple pub food but it was all tasty and satisfying. We'll be back before the season is over! "

"We enjoyed our time here very much. The accommodation is basic but comfortable and clean, providing everything that is needed for a stay in nature (including a fully stocked kitchenette and emergency tea bags). The location is amazing with a pond, seating, fireplace, berbequw, a hot tub and several wonderfull walking trails nearby. Paul, the host, is super friendly, always available via text message and keeps firewood and fresh water stocked. He is very knowledgeable about the area and history, generally a very nice guy and we ended up sharing lunch with him and exchanging stories. Five big stars!"
