Nice hotel just off the highway
I took a while for the owner to answer the bell. After that the service was very good. My room didn't have a microwave so they let me use the microwave in another room that was not being used. The room was clean and tidy. The door handle was a little loose but it worked fine. There was a nice covered area with tables to picnic. Though I didn't use it there is a communal fire pit. Overall an enjoyable stay. I would stay there again.
Older yes, but clearly running this place is a labour of love as it's spotlessly clean. Looked like recent-ish upgrades to TV and fridge. Great old-school motel stay for a road trip. Check out the golf course across the street for breakfast!
It's an old fashioned roadside motel. The host was friendly and accommodating. The exterior and rooms have been recently renovated with tasteful colours and trim. The bathroom featured new tub and vanity. New carpet and linoleum throughout.
The motel is located across the highway from a local golf course and driving range, which offers a good breakfast in their restaurant. They are also licenced in case you don't want to drive into town.
A nice surprise. It was small but very clean. Great for an overnight stay or longer if you were sight seeing or visiting. A little small if you were going to spend much time inside.
2 nights, first night was fine 2nd night very noisy group put right next to us at 12:30am which prevented any sleep. Didn't understand it as when I went to complain it seemed every other room in the place was empty so they just shoved 3 very loud German (2 male 1 female) into a room next to a family with tons of empty rooms, woke every single one of us up and allowed for about 3 hours sleep.
Had issues with check in, would probably recommend the motel up the road or just staying in one of the hotels in Salmon Arm for the price.
our stay was terrible. The office was unattended. Was told room wasn't ready and it was after 5 pm when we arrived Told to go away and come back later or pay extra for another room. We paid the extra. The office reception area was filthy full of old rubbish/furniture.
Whilst the room had obviously had a paint job recently the furniture was very old, old beds, outdated soft furnishing and a very old TV. There was no wifi service.
Whilst it was a budget hotel I did expect it to be at least at a satisfactory level. Room was to be a non smoking room. I doubt that it was. a very disappointing stay.

Just okay
If you just need a bed to crash in for a night this place will do. The room was tiny, it had a queen bed with room for a desk, a couple chairs and a fridge and the bathroom only had a shower stall (the lady did ask if the shower only was ok with us). The room was clean and the bathroom did look like it was fairly recently renovated. There were a few things that didn't work - one of the lamps, the smoke detector was obviously missing from the ceiling and the wifi network was virtually nonexistent as none of our devices could even pick it up. I wouldn't want to stay here longer than one night, but if you just need a cheap place to crash this will work.
No room for the night
We booked online but when we went to the hotel there was no room available. The lady at the front desk said that she never received an email from Expedia about our reservation .
