"My usual hotel appeared to have been fully booked so I decided to give the IJsselhotel, sorry the Pillows Luxury Boutique Hotel Aan De IJssel a try. The location is amazing, right across from the town on the river. To get to the other side there is a small ferry throughout the day. My room was amazing. "The outside of the hotel is not inviting, being part of a stadium complex. However, inside is a modern, stylish and comfortable place to spend one or two nights. The staff are very professional. The restaurant is good, as is the breakfast selection. The rooms are a good size. Plenty of parking for a small charge. There is a walking route to the centre of Zwolle but it takes 30 minutes."

"There is nothing not to like about Hotel de Zwaan en it's restaurant. Both the hotel and the restaurant staff are very friendly. The restaurant has a unique menu and I enjoyed my veal dish thoroughly. The breakfast was excellent. My room was large and quiet. The bed comfortable. Nice shower."

"Short walk to the local shops. Lots of parking spaces never s struggle to get a space. Tehre was a wheelchair ramp up to the hotel reception. A 10 pin bowling alley shares the car park. It had a secure bicycle lock dedicated building, accessible with your room key card."
