"Quite expensive compared to size, no linen included, no cleaning included, IKEA furniture and tableware. Make note, hotels.com adds VAT to advertized prices so it is even more expensive. Maintenance was sending detailed SMS instructions about how the cottage should be cleaned and what time they will be coming to inspect the property."

"The location is good - not far away from anywhere in Ruka. Apartment is clean, cozy and nicely decorated. If the booking is made, as we did, the same day as arrival, the check-in instructions may need to be called after. "

"Perheloma. Mökkiin sopii isompikin perhe. Petipaikat 10:lle henkilölle. Kaksi makkaria alakerrassa ja kolme nukkumasoppea ylhäällä. "We had a fab time and stayed in a lovely log cabin - was clean and perfect for two adults and a nine year old. The resort was very quiet with two places to eat that were walkable. We really enjoyed the skiing, was approx 160 euros per day for two adults and a child for equipment hire and lift passes. The only downside was that the pool and gym were quite expensive to use - 45 euros for three people to swim and 6 euros to use the gym that were both part of the hotel. Also make sure you stock up...

"The hotel is amazing, the location is key, ski-in-and-out. Right next to Ruka Ski Resort Gondola. The room assigned to me was clean, very charming and cozy. The bed was super comfortable, nice winter blankets, and soft pillows. Breakfast was included and it is a massive buffet with healthy options. I loved the food and the service. There are restaurants, shopping stores, and tour agencies all within walking distance. Also the bus stop to the airport is a 4 minute walk. I would come back to this hotel and location big time. Finland is a dream!!"

"Our stay was exactly what my fiancé and I were hoping for! The room had absolutely everything needed for a ski trip. It had a spectacular view with both a hot tub and sauna. It was spacious, equipped with all the kitchen necessities, and was close to the rentals and gondola. Not too mention all the nearby restaurants and shops. We couldn’t have been happier with our stay."

"Our two bedroom appartement was perfect for our family of 5. Well appointed and cleverly designed. The beds were confortable, the kitchen partical ans there was just enough storage for us. We loved the sauna in the main bathroom. We loved the location - right on the slopes and above a wonderful pizzeria (Popolo)! The check in was handy as we were sent a code that am - especially as we arrived and left out of hours. The skibu from Rovaniemi left us right in front of it. The pyha rental store is accross the Courtyard, the lower one which we used, a 15min walk. There is a main supermarket there too. "
