"This was quite possibly the best hotel we've ever stayed at. The views of the lake from every vantage point on the property are beyond stunning. The food at the hotel was by far the best we had anywhere in Guatemala. The staff were friendly and extremely accommodating. The room was stunning. And we absolutely loved San Marcos - everything you need is at most a 10 minute walk from the hotel. Truly can't recommend Kula Maya enough. "

An amazing dining hall/bar etched into the volcanic rock with cusine made from scratch from your incredible Hosts Jochen y Gabbie. The sous vide steak/lomito was delicious. The nights under the moon and stars with the sounds of nature all around, make this a must stay at the lake. Hosts will hire private boats to enjoy the rest of the lake. "
