"The property exceeded expectations. The owners were very welcoming and organised an interpreter to ensure any questions we may have had were answered. Although they live onsite they are extremely discrete and you'd barely know anyone else lived on the property. The pool was fabulous, warm and a big hit with all. The house is well located with lots of activities within easy reach. "

"We had a very enjoyable holiday in this excellent house. The location is very convenient for both the beaches and Bordeaux, and great for cycling or walking in forests and along the coast. The house is beautifully finished, private, and comforable, with all the required equipment and amenities to a high standard. Hosts Francis and Catherine were very welcoming and helpful, even providing delicious home-grown tomatoes and free-range eggs. Hope to visit again some day!"

"Sehr schönes Häuschen, perfekt ausgestattet, genug Platz für uns 5. Sehr angenehme, nette und unkomplizierte Vermieterin, alles hat gestimmt, es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Das Schwimmbecken im Ort kam bei den Kindern gut an für die Erfrischung zwischendurch, die Fahrt zum Atlantikstrand dauert etwas länger, das ist aber vollkommen OK. Im Ort mehrere Bäcker, kleiner Supermarkt und Aldi, einige nette Bistros/Restaurants. Und Austern am Hafen. Nur die Betten dürften etwas härter sein :-) Wir haben...

"We had a brilliant stay in this beautiful villa. It’s a very cleverly designed property with everything you need. It’s in a great situation a short drive from the wonderful beaches of the Atlantic coast and Andernos-Le-Bain. Arès is a short walk for all the shops and oyster shacks. The market is a must. The villa is a delight. It’s got air-con and the pool and jacuzzi are a real bonus. The beds are comfortable. There is also a separate toilet as well as the main bathroom. The owner was very...
