"Room I stayed had beautiful view of ski resort, but it was very quiet, also how they arranged the bathroom and toilet and wash basins was very nice to shared by two persons and with privacy. Also hotel offered very nice public bath, which I would like to recommand very highly. However, choice of food could of been wider, but all and all this place was alot better located and offed better food than other hotels I stayed at Karuizawa before."

She missed my booking and ask to contact with Hotel.com strongly at that time even I show her Hote.com confirmation letter and would like to pay for a new room till her college found my reservation. "loved it so much we actually booked same brand of hotel in the next town we visited. the onsen was so lovely, and open overnight which allowed me to relax while my partner took some calls (late night in Japan but working in business hrs US time zone). free washing machines were so nice. other treats (free coffee, tea, probiotic drinks, ice cream pops) added bonus. walkable from train station and the attractions we wanted to visit "

"The rooms were very clean and the location was excellent. We were a short walk from the train station and also a nice walk to the Matsumoto Castle. The only negative experience was the free breakfast which was styrofoam dinner trays, individually wrapped croissants and a Japanese style breakfast which we did not find appetising. "We stayed for one night. The staff provided excellent service, although they don't speak English well. The room was spacious and clean. There is a kitchen and washing machine with dryer, which are suitable for long stays. 30 mins drive from Karuizawa Station. In winter, the road becomes slippery due to snow and ice, so drive carefully."
