"This is a beautiful property and our host was great. It is set in beautiful gardens which I wish we’d had more time to enjoy. My main criteria when choosing somewhere to stay is easy parking and a walk in shower. Only issue was that I’d requested a room with a shower as I find a bathtub difficult. Within a few minutes, in Carentan-les-marais, the D-Day experience, restaurants and other small business make it a good option. But the best part is the chateau itself and its hosts, Cathy and Jacky.
