"We spend 3 nights at the Chateau and could not be happier. Its location is very convenient, between Utah and Omaha beaches, so it is an accessible and strategic base to visit Normandy. Within a few minutes, in Carentan-les-marais, the D-Day experience, restaurants and other small business make it a good option. But the best part is the chateau itself and its hosts, Cathy and Jacky. "Stunningly quaint and relaxing! Felt like I was at my mom's farm house. This is the best VRBO experience I've ever had. Ségolène and Luis are amazing, attentive and friendly hosts. They have restored everyrhing themsleves - balancing the history of a place built in the late 1790s without making the property too modern or old feeling. Jumbo the dog is a bonis!
