"We really liked the sites as it was convenient to get to La Rochelle and Rochefort. Fouras is a great town with lots going on; nice selection of restaurants. The pool was nice but people were not following the rules of no vaping aloud (maybe more/clearer signs or staff mentioning it to visitors would help). The bathroom was a bit smelly at the start but with ventilation that improved (there were no shelves in the shower area so that was not practical). We had plenty of towels and it was great...

"Residence idéalement placée (a proximité des commerces, des restaurants, de la plage) dans un cadre agréable. Les installations et logements sont cependant vieillissants. Le logement n'était pas tres propre (sol et toiles d'araignées) malgré notre largesse sur le sujet"

Village vacances entièrement piéton se qui est sécurisant avec charette pour transporter les affaires. Petit kit d'hygiène à l'arrivée également. Accès quasi direct à la plage. "Maison agréable avec belle piscine bien entretenue pouvant accueillir jusqu’à 12 personnes Bel espace extérieur Bonne literie . Draps serviettes de toilette à disposition de très bonne qualité Cuisine bien équipée Propriétaire très agréable, qui n a pas su mettre en valeur sa demeure au niveau photo Nous avons été très agréablement surpris lors de notre arrivée, , de voir que nous pouvions manger dehors . Grande table avec chaises et barbecue à gaz . Les photos ne montraient pas cette partie...

"In a quiet area within easy walking of city centre, beaches, local shops. Could have been better if there was a bit more information about getting around eg buses, ferries, bikes etc. Staff always polite. "

"It was a great location good cheap buses to town every 15 minutes . Lots of nice food right there . The room we had with a third bed for child - the room was way too small for this and hot and stuffy , ok as a double - not ok as a family room . No air con so very hot in heat wave but at least nice opening window .downstairs and pool area very nice …pay for a balcony I should have it would have been much better . "
