"We were a little tired and stressed on arrival as our pre booked hire car was a bit of a mission to sort. The Villa owner was there when we arrived, wanting payment for bedding and cleaning. We were expecting the bedding but had missed the €180 for cleaning as the correspondence was in French only. She said that they shouldn’t really be letting the property as they’d had a water leak leaving one of the rooms damp and with mould, which was true. "We traveled with our sons - 10 and 12 from the US. The house exceeds expectations. It’s stunning. The view of the sea is breathtaking. The pool is lovely. The kitchen looks out over the sea. The beds are comfortable and the air conditioning and ice maker is plentiful (IYKYK). Most impressive - this home is a 1 block walk to club 44 which was our favorite beach and lunch spot. "We were looking for a villa that would accommodate us all, had a heated pool and was within walkable distance of the town. We know Sainte Maxime well so knew this would suit us perfectly. Villa Plein Sud did not disappoint. It is well appointed and comfortable. For us, the addition of a proper shower over the bath upstairs would be beneficial for easier use. We had a lovely holiday and would book again. "
