"A beautiful property with stunning views from all windows. Larger than we thought with 4 good bedrooms, an office and a utility room plus large garage where we stored bikes. All bedrooms have doors to balconies. The terrace has awesome views over the lake. The only watch-out for some might be it’s a long and steep walk to Talloires - expect to use your car a lot unless you’re a keen cyclist."

"This is an idyllic spot in Talloires! Our group of 9 had a wonderful time exploring the area and coming home to enjoy the amazing views and swimming in the pool! Agnes and Souria are the kindest caretakers of the property and Phillipe was very responsive with communications! We made magical family memories! "Mr & Mrs Grasso were really nice but Mr Grasso did not respond to any emails until 2 days before we got there. He does not speak English but we could have sent a message in French. The pool was not heated but was not an issue but the pool does need a good clean especially round the steps. Internally the house was exceptionally well fitted with what looks like some particularly expensive items but was quirky, e.g. one bedroom door would not shut, toilet door would not fully open glass windows...

"We had a fabulous time staying here. The house was very clean and spacious. We were two families with four little kids and we had plenty of room in the house. (High chair and cot provided.) The views from the house and yard were phenomenal! The hosts were welcoming. We especially enjoyed the hot tub and taking a dip in the cold lake (we were there in April.) *Note: The hot tub did take a bit of practice getting the temperature right... it was often too cold or too hot! "The Grand Dame shows its age but the property is very well located among the highest homes on the hill side providing for excellent views of the mountains, lake, nearby castle and Annecy in the distance. The many bedrooms and bathrooms were impeccably clean. From the kitchen and master bedroom you will often see dozens of parapente gliders, many of which you can watch land just a 10 minute drive from the house . A 10 minute walk downhill takes you to the small but cute center of Menthon, another...

"Great panorama view. But the house would definitively need some renovations/modernisations for the price it is located. AND it should be deeply cleaned. Overall the stay is nice mainly due to the wonderfull panorama and location of the house."

"The house is perched up high so you get a fabulous view of Lake Annecy. The house is perfect, well arranged and very comfortable. 100% recommend it!"

"The Propoerty was large and accomodating but two shower / bath rooms need modinisation and flaking and damp plaster needs tiling. I felt I paid too much for the quality of two of the shower rooms which were not fit for purpose at this cost (€4k). A small refund would be appreciated."

The Chalet was very well equipped, everything you needed. The location excellent. Our cycling and paddle boarding family made the best of all Annecy could offer. An amazing holiday. "Maison très bien équipée. Électroménager haut de gamme. Grand Rez-de-chaussée très agréable, avec une grande table et un plan de travail fonctionnel. Nous étions 6 adultes. Petit bémol, les maisons voisines sont trop proches et on partage le jardin avec une autre maison, qui appartient au propriétaire paraît-il. Et ça, on ne le voit pas sur les photos. Surprise !!"
