The Space:
CITQ : 305728
The vast site of the Chalets d'auvergne includes two other pavilions: La Sittelle and Le Marmontin. The non-smoking chalet l'Hermine offers an open area with a wood fireplace and two closed bedrooms upstairs. The abundant windows and cathedral ceilings offer a magnificent view of the forest. A triple patio door leads to a screened terrace with table, chairs, BBQ and an outdoor fireplace. The open area includes a living area with smart TV, a dining room with kitchen and central island.
The pavilion was designed using energy eco-performance principles and is part of an applied research project - Auvergne laboratoire vivant - with the participation of Trempe Architecte and the Société d'habitation du Québec.
Two parking spaces and an electric charging station are available.
On-site activities:
The wooded site extends over a kilometer with only three pavilions for rent: La Sittelle, l’Hermine and le Marmontin. Exclusive access to hiking and snowshoeing trails, the illuminated trail and children’s games. With its wetlands, the adjacent marsh and its peat bog, the site itself represents a real exploration.
You can also relax at the private dock at the river, ideal for swimming and navigable for 8 km (kayaks and belts available).
Outdoor enthusiasts all year round will be spoiled by the proximity of the Portneuf wildlife reserve (20km), the St-Basile interpretation park (15km), the Bras du Nord valley (entrance 12km) and the Duchesnay tourist resort (20km). The town of Saint-Raymond, located 10km away, offers all the basic amenities as well as many attractions (ski resort, peat bog park, etc.). The green bike route is only 4 kilometres from the site. An activity guide is available on site.
Convenience:
The water comes from deep underground springs and may, depending on the season, give off a faint odour and a tint related to tannin (residual colour of the leaves, typical of forest wells, which does not affect potability). A pure and naturally filtered water station is also installed in the kitchen, for your well-being.
Guest Access:
Paquet Street in Ste-Christine-d'Auvergne is geolocated on Google map. It is near rue des bouleaux, without crossing it. See the route attached to the photos.
