The rooms are amazing and perfect for a family on a quick road trip/city break. the pattiserie next to the hotel is a godsend with amazing products perfect for the morning breakfast and there are loads of shopping areas close by (10 min driving distance). "Les Jardins du Marais was excellent all around. The location of this neighborhood made many of the famous sites easily within walking distance (Le Louvre, Notre Dame, etc), and there were tons of great places to eat nearby. We also paid for the breakfast buffet that was available at the hotel, and I am so glad we did. The food was high quality and we ate a lot each day before heading out on the town. If there were any negatives, they were very minor. The Queen sized bed, for instance, is actually two twins pushed together, so my feet were hanging off the end of the bed. And on our final day we put up the tag to have our room made up but they never did it, which then prompted a woman to come knock on our door and try to explain in French how the signs worked. I tried to explain that we had left it up all day before we left, but I don't think she understood. All in all, however, I would still recommend this as an excellent value for the money we paid, especially with the breakfast add-on. They have a nice sauna and small gym, which we also appreciated. If we returned to Paris we would very likely stay at Les Jardins du Marais again after a wonderful full week for our first time Paris."
