"My wife and I had a lovely stay at the flat in St Medard en Jalles. The owner, Sylvie, was very helpful and friendly explaining to us about the locality and giving advice on things to do. The flat itself had all modern conveniences and was very clean and well maintained. St Medard is a little quiet, but the roads into Bordeaux and out to the seaside are good. "Great apartment with wonderful views over the Gironde, two levels above ground. Free parking opposite. Lovely street market on Saturday morning 100 metres away, cafes and restaurants even closer. Whilst the oven doesn't exist, there is an air conditioner which wasn't listed on the website but was very welcome. The apartment needs a good deep clean and the torn curtains should be replaced. Overall, the apartment is really good, and we would highly recommend."
