"The location of the property is fantastic, it is only 100m from the entrance of the old town. Free parking is available 300m away but is highly sought after and difficult to get, paid parking outside the property is easy but is 6€ per day. ( traffic wardens were around regularly) The supermarket is within walking distance. Only other downside about the place was the brush cotton(?) PLASTIC sheet it was impossibly to sleep on as it incredibly hot. We had brought some bedding from home so we used that.we couldnt see how this sheet could be washed as it wouldnt have fitted in a standard washing machine. "Lake Annecy is an outdoorsperson's dream. Hiking, swimming, boating, hiking, skiing, etc...and so beautiful! This apartment is located in the old city, a five minute walk from the lake. It is also in the thick of the action---restaurants, shops, etc.---which is good at times and a little annoying when the revelers get rowdy at 3 a.m. In my mind, this is a very small price to pay for the vicinity to the lake.
