"We spent four comfortable days in the lovely self-contained apartment above Carol and Philip’s home. The two bedrooms were well appointed with plenty of hangars in the closets, heating that we were able to adjust ourselves on a couple very cool nights, and views onto their beautiful garden. The shower room was separate from the WC, a great convenience, and the front sitting room had a TV, books to borrow, and lots of information flyers about Normandy. "Everything about my stay was wonderful. The garden was magic with a never-ending series of hidden corners to discover - ever-evolving. The cottage was very well-stocked with anything I could need. I really enjoyed meeting Jacques and his wife, and Cécile. As far as cooking goes, it was so nice to have a selection of things to use and the treats all disappeared the first night! Mariannick really knows how to make a person feel welcome. My favourite 'home away' in more than 20 years. THANK you!"

"A notre arrivée, appartement très sale, frigo encombré des restes du précédent occupant, pas de draps propres (sèche-linge en marche à notre arrivée), avons été obligé d'en laver d'autres pour dormir, propreté du linge de toilette douteux, pas de réponse appropriée de notre interlocuteur, remettant en cause notre bonne foi, refusant tout dédommagement en dehors du remboursement du ménage. Immeuble très bruyant (étages inférieurs, rue). C'est donc à éviter..."
