"If you arrive by car in the dark then its not easy to see the driveway to the Reception nor where you can actually park. You have to go in and ask! Very friendly and informative staff so first class in that respect. Room was fine and good enough but noisy smoking neighbours in next room on the adjoining balcony. Restaurant staff great. Usual disappointing menu but typical french fayre and they still dont know what a well done steak is! "

"When we arrived at 3pm per our check in instructions, we were told the room would not be available until 5-530pm. Floors were dirty and the room is in need of updates. People at the front desk were friendly but did not speak any English. Although stated on hotels.com that English was spoken. "

"We all love this house!! This is our second stay here and all the family had a wonderful holiday. The pool is warm and beautifully clean...we could not get the children out of it!! The house is very generously equipped and spacious inside as well as being on a very private plot, in a quiet neighbourhood. The beautiful sandy Messanges beach is a quick 10 minute cycle ride away and the piste cyclable is only a couple of minutes cycle in the other direction. We had fresh bread and pastries from the nearby bakery every morning and Vieux Boucau with its markets, lake, restaurants and delicious ice creams is only a 15 minute cycle away. Thank you Christophe and Florence....we hope to be back!"

"The property fell short of its 4 star rating and our expectations. The lighting in the kitchen/main room did not work. The hot water in the shower was exhausted rather quickly. Most unpleasant was the presence of mosquitos and the lack of air-conditioning as the temperature reached 38C on the day when we arrived. "

"Very nice place right next to the water. My room had a balcony with a lovely view of the boats coming and going. Excellent breakfast buffet. Nice bar area with seating inside and out. Very friendly desk staff. My only negative comment would be that the bathroom was a bit ancient, but it was clean."
