The apartment itself was spotless, light and airy with a lovely balcony and very close to the city centre and the beach, whilst being located in a very peaceful neighbourhood. "Toute la famille est ravie de ses vacances à l'île d'Oléron. Un bon bol d'air et de dépaysement dans une location pratique et très bien située. Les propriétaires sont charmants. Leur restaurant l'est tout aussi : nous pouvions tout autant profiter des soirées organisées que rester tranquillement se reposer après une après midi de plage. Ce séjour est à refaire ! "Our whole La Rochelle experience was amazing... from the situation of the apartment to the surrounding amenities were spot on... lots of eateries around the apartment but to go into La Rochelle is a must, what a vibrant place!! The room we had with a third bed for child - the room was way too small for this and hot and stuffy , ok as a double - not ok as a family room . No air con so very hot in heat wave but at least nice opening window .downstairs and pool area very nice …pay for a balcony I should have it would have been much better . "

"We had a lovely stay here. The reception staff were really welcoming and helpful. I was a bit surprised because the room picture was of twin beds with space between, but it was made up as a double. I was travelling with my son, so ended up sleeping on the sofa bed, which was easy to pull out, had a bottom sheet already on and additional pillows etc were in the cupboard. The wall cupboards weee tricky for me, as I’m only 5’1” tall!! Fortunately my son is 6’ tall and was willing to reach things...
