"I would have given a higher rating but we had to leave the breakfast table after waiting nearly half a hour for out hot food and on check out there was no real apology for this. The place is very lovely but staff were not overly friendly. Would probably from a senior person in charge. "

"Wow! From the moment we drove through the gates and were welcomed by Valentino, we were blown away. The property is stunning from the outside but is surpassed by what the owners have done to decorate the inside. "This was our second visit to this hotel. Previously we came in a summer ,but this visit was on the last day of Bordeaux Xmas market. The hotel is situated on the tram line which you can buy tickets at the machine or on the app. To get into centre takes about ten mins. Across from hotel is the river which you can walk into Bordeaux with lots of restaurants and shops. A lot shut in the winter, but definitely worth a nice walk.
