"Really nice gite, it was well equipped and very clean, lovely owners and perfectly located for visiting Troyes, Lac d’Orient & Nigloland. The village is lovely and quiet and the local bakeries sell beautiful bread and pastries. It was so hot we could have done with fans to cool us."

"Just come back from a wonderful week stay at this Roffey property. Exactly how it was described and perfect for our dads 70th birthday treat. 6 adults and 2 children , plenty of space, pool and hot tub made it extra special . "This accommodation is owned and managed by a couple who understand the needs of their guests and they go out of their way to try to accommodate your needs. Having said that we had as little or as much contact with them as we needed. In our case we were seeking a quiet week away from 'tourist land' where we would be comfortable and undisturbed. "We had a very nice family get together in this spacious and beautiful house and garden. The house had a lived in feel and was generously provided which meant we had everything that we needed to enjoy our time together and the small children especially loved the enclosed garden with swings, a Wendy house and children’s toys and seats The proprietor very kindly picked us up from the station and gave us a warm welcome. Comfortable one night stay
"We had an excellent stay: a couple with a young baby, staying one night on our drive through France. Check in was easy, we were directed to one of the (secured) parking spots. The receptionist very kindly set up the baby bed, which somehow wasn’t on our booking. The room was fine: having a kitchenette was very handy, the bed was comfortable, the room large. The shower room was a bit on the small side, but not a major problem for one night. Close to the city centre for restaurants and shops. Overall we’d recommend this place for an overnight, and we’d book again if coming back to Troyes."
