"Small hotel with very friendly and efficient staff. I am a very light sleeper and my room was right next to the elevator and the elevator shaft. I asked to be changed and the front desk manager was so helpful. The room I was then given was in tbe very corner of the top floor and very quiet and peaceful. "

"Lovely hotel in the middle of Provins. Good sized room, excellent breakfast (extra). Lovely evening meal on Sunday night when all other restaurants closed. Very nice outdoor hotel seating area for coffee or drinks as well. Staff very friendly although, despite sign saying all Reception staff spoke English, one member made it difficult for us and having offered the final bill, without showing the breakdown, had to refund cash for charging an additional breakfast which we didn't take on one of the mornings. "

"Not the normal holiday let - and all the better for it ! Huge garden with tables and chairs. The host was helpful and friendly. He left us a bottle of his own fortified wine made from his grapes in the garden. Intermarche Supermarket just up the road and easy to get to Troyes."

"On arrival we had to try several numbers to get a response We had no hot water in any of the 3 rooms. We called and he returned saying it was sorted and we would have hot water after 3hrs but we still didn’t have any in the morning. We were on 3 motorcycles and had been travelling all day looking forward to a shower. Then in the morning while we had breakfast they went in our rooms moved some of our stuff and cleaned the rooms ready for the next guests before we even checked out. "

"No reception found our rooms and assumed they were ours. Simple accommodation but suited our circumstances excellently. Suzanne becoming a run down town. One very good pizza restaurant and a cafe closed 2130 on a day France was playing in the euros???"

"We have stayed at this hotel a few times en-route to the Alps for skiing. Every time we arrive around midnight and always have problems with the automated reception ATM. The problem is hotels.com DO NOT give the B&B reservation code you need to access your reservation with the ATM...so you are forced to call their helpline in the middle of the night. Hotels.com only provide their own itinerary code which is invalid. So, if you know you are arriving late, contact the property in advance and requestion the B&B RESERVATION code....you'll thank me for this info! Unfortunately they cannot give you the access code to your room directly until you pay your 1.40 Euro tax. Otherwise, this hotel is very convenient for us for an overnight stopover. The family rooms with mezzanine are excellent, showers hot and rooms are clean. There's a boulangerie, petrol and a supermarket all close by. "
