"Excellent place to stay, arrived at Chambéry train station and this hotel is directly opposite so very convenient. Enjoyed our hotel location without disturbances from passing trains. The hotel is central and has markets, shops, parks and restaurants within a few minutes walking distance. We opted to eat in the local areas, however would try breakfast options next time and sure that too would be excellent. There’s a restaurant next to the hotel and car hire company’s that can be arranged conveniently if required. Lots of lakes or trekking options with stunning views in this area. Enjoyed a fantastic few days in this beautiful town and I’m sure to return again in the future. Happy to recommend this hotel and plan a trip again. Thanks to the team "

"The hotel is relatively new and therefore the facilities are in great conditions. The decorations and furniture give the place a nice ambience. The staff was really friendly and helpful. Overall I enjoyed staying at Best Western in Saint-Jean-de-Maurienne."

"Excellent location. Excellent value for money. The best 2 bartenders in the world (shoutout to George and Freddie for the exceptional service and sharing yoir drink making artistry!). Nice to be able to book a private 30 min hot tub (would be great if it was a touch hotter and a little less bubbly!) the themed dinner nights were excellent and the food very good. We opted for the half board which was excellent value (even considering we opted for one night out at Les Coursives in Meribel village which was the best French food I’ve ever tasted!). Suggest a kettle in the dining room for those of us who like scalding hot tea :) The rooms were big and the beds comfy. Our room had carpet which I personally hate. The lounge was kitschy and cool and had just the right feel before and apres ski. Loved the combo of old charm and low tech with all you need for a delightful stay and this quirky spot. Would definitely come back. "

"The room was pretty big and with a minikitchen, the bed was comfortable, wifi worked great, there was a free coffee/tea and apples in a common area, friendly staff, most of whom spoke very good English. The location was walkable and quiet, except on Friday evening, when a bar nearby had loud boom-boom music outside. Importantly, I couldn’t hear the other guests. Absolutely recommend!"
