"Apart from the bed collapsing on quite a few occasions, some of the parts of the house been mended by bodgit and scarper and the pool having seen better days. I quite enjoyed our holiday. It’s a lovely peaceful setting in which to enjoy the surrounding area. You just get the feeling that the house could be spectacular but they’ve gone for the cheaper option in order to maximise profits. Not quite silence - there are sheep a couple of fields away and the hum of insects gorging on the flowers. Walks through the fields and woods in the area from the front door. "The gite was wonderful, everthing possible was there for the guests use….torch, matches, cleaning products, extra toilet rolls etc. We were welcomed with the most amazing pack of food products including beer & wine. The bed is super comfortable with additional blankets if needed, the large shower is great as well. The area/local towns were a little too quiet for us but we made the most of it….and it is out of season. "
