"This is a beautiful old house with plenty of space for a large family to eat together. The views are wonderful with deer and rabbits walking below the house. It is in a part of France with much to offer in terms of activities like cycling, canoeing, eating and just admiring the beautiful villages. "We thoroughly enjoyed both the indoor and outdoor aspects of the property. The 800 year old tower was magnificent and truly unique. The terrace and the porch were great places to have breakfast and play games in the evening. The pool and the badminton court were a perfect way to end day after exploring wonderful nearby villages. "We had two wonderful weeks in our rented property which was situated within five minutes from excellent restaurants and village shops. Cassac-Aillac is well placed with many of the iconic beauty-spots within easy driving distance. An extra bonus were the wonderful range of birds we had in the garden. Despite being near to the main village road, it was so peaceful"

There is also so much to do in the surrounding area. Cahors is only a 30 minute drive and there are plenty of villages, towns and chateau nearby. Everything you could wish for. "Visiting the area my fiancé spent her childhood summers and the house is a 4min drive from the town center with beautiful views across the valley and wooded areas. Nice and peaceful but still local to the town and amenities. Pool and outdoor areas are perfect for lazy days and evenings and the house (old school) is quirky, rustic and lovely with all that you could need. Host was excellent with information required and directions to find the house. Thank you for letting us stay"
