"We had a terrific stay at Patrice and Armelle's Gite. The hosts have large hearts and gave us a whole basket full of excellent local nuts. We were welcomed very warmly and kindly although we arrived late and Armelle helped us with all that we needed, including the rental and application of bedsheets. It is a very quiet location, with just a neighbouring couple in an attached property but we never really heard or saw much of them. We found plenty to do locally and further afield - caves, lovely villages, ancient settlements, châteaux, canoeing, etc Could fill two, three or even four weeks here easily!
