"The cottage was a lovely place to stay. The property was very quiet and presented exactly as the listing described. We had everything we required and everything was clean and tidy. The pool area was lovely. There wasnt really anything in the village but the nearest town was only 10 or so minutes away. There was a supermarket and petrol station and a market. "Beautiful cottage with everything you need. Use of grounds and pool. Very friendly, helpful, hosts gave lots of advice on things to do and places to visit and nothing was too much trouble. Enclosed garden to the cottage so our dog could be let off lead. Peaceful location, we had a great stay, thank you Jill and Phil."

"After initially staying for 10 days we then went to the Dordogne for a week. I wish we’d have stayed here the whole time! Still you live and learn. The gite is very clean, well equipped with a lovely modern bathroom and kitchen with plenty of space to park your car. I have to say I’m a bit fussy, bringing my own bedding and towels but I didn’t need them here. The pristine white bedding and towels were changed every 5 days. "This property is a peaceful shangrila. Our hosts Barbara and Kevin couldn’t have been more helpful and accommodating. The property is an enclosed peace of paradise. Modern farmhouse interiors, horse pastures surrounded by forest and a gracious host and family leave us feeling only one regret - that we did not stay longer. / Nous nous sentons très chanceux d'avoir séjourné ici. "We weren’t disappointed by this property at all. We stayed for 3 nights while attending a wedding . I will say that this place while soundproofed, is not quiet, you can hear people in other rooms. The beds could be a bit more comfortable too. Other than that, our room was clean, the staff were friendly and spoke English. The location is beautiful, we loved Jonzac and would return. "
