"It was a beautiful house, very interesting and well cared for. Breakfast was very tasty and well presented. The immediate property is nicely landscaped and has beautiful views. Access to the rest of the town is very difficult. They sit on a hill which is steep and busy. You have to use taxis to at least come back from dinner or lunch and some are overcharging."

"My husband and I only stayed one night here — we wish we could have stayed longer! Our comfortable room had a large terrace overlooking the Douro River, there is a nice swimming pool on the property and the views are beautiful! The included breakfast was delicious and substantial, and the dinner we had there was quite good. This is a family-owned place and the owner’s son Paolo, who is the manager, was very welcoming and kind. We would return! "

"Charmerende. Dejligt værelse med udsigt til poolen. Vær opmærksom på at nogen værelser har vinduer højt, så man ikke kan se ud (kælderen). Flere grupper af stole/borde udenfor, så man kunne sidde og hygge. Flinke værter. Morgenmad ok, men der manglede hele tiden noget (var der i 3 dage). I området var der gode afmærkede vandrerstier. Et stort supermarked. "

"This place is an absolute gem, and our family of four (two adults and kids aged 6 and 8) loved it. The view is fantastic, and there are plenty of outdoor spaces to enjoy it. The home is spacious, clean, and comfortable. We arrived to a stocked fridge which was very appreciated.
