"It is an amazing place Done in a very simplistic style but ever so stylish and in such good taste. Paradise to rest, enjoy the sun the quiet pool and the tennis court or just to go on long walks. Joaquim and Sonia are the best hosts possible. The breakfast they served kept us at the table for longer than we wanted due to the wonderful food. I highly recommend this place. "

"The hotel was like a hidden gem, the staff were really welcoming, friendly and couldn’t do enough for our family. A very nice beautiful location with easy access to water parks, beaches and historical/culture interest staff are very knowledgeable about what’s on in the area. Very much recommend the hotel organising a boat trip as the caves are absolutely stunning. Our family had a great holiday and will be booking to go again. We’ll definitely book again."

The space is small, about the size of a dorm room, but it was clean, had it’s own bathroom and shower and very convenient. "Great location close to everything. I only stayed one night but enjoyed the stay. The apartment was quiet, spacious and comfortable, the kitchen was a bit basic with no other amenities than a kettle and some cups. The restaurant was great with lovely food and very nice staff. "Staff friendly and rooms very clean. Have stayed in Praia da Rocha several times before but never at Flor da Rocha. Only disadvantages, staying in late March the balcony always seemed to be in the shade. At no point, even on the sunny warmer days was it ever a sun trap. Think this is due to the other buildings close by and the shape of the building itself. Other disadvantage, which isn't the apartments fault are some of the other guests. Sound proofing between apartments isn't great...

"From our experience, NH holds every nickel a prisoner when it comes to the upgrading and maintenance of its rooms. Spacious but Spartan. The entrance door was jammed so that it took a full FBI style crosscheck to get it open every time. The sliding glass door didn't actually lock, fortunately as we forgot the keys inside once. While other accommodations offered free port and various other welcome gifts, we were met with fee-based everything in the room. Having to 'consider' a twenty Euro penalty...
