"Room very clean and tidy with everything that you need for a comfortable stay. The staff were very nice and helpful bearing in mind that our German is very limited. Hotel is nicely situated with only a short walk in to town. Arnstadt has a beautiful old town centre with a great cafe opposite the Rathaus for afternoon coffee and strudel / ice cream sundaes etc . One of the few places open on Sunday. Nice place to stay for three or four days at least."

"Lovely quiet, rural area. Fabulous forestry, rocky outcrops, scenery so green. Great for walking, cycling, exploring this part of northern Bavaria. Even though rural roads, superb, easy from A to B. Staff lovely in the hotel. Spoke good English for restricted German speakers. Comfort Room spacious and clean. Little terrace with outside seating. Great views. "Perfect location and great hotel downtown Suhl"

"Very clean and safe hotel. Spacious room. Excellent shower. Booked as a solo traveller and for some reason received a (small/narrow) single person duvet on a double bed. Made sleeping very uncomfortable and cold. Hotel a la carte restaurant was closed, only a buffet available.... Was very poor quality food and also not cheap. "

"Insgesamt hatten wir eine gute Woche in Presseck. Allerdings mit ein paar Abstrichen. Die Betten und Matratzen sind vielleicht etwas für Kinder, für Erwachsene überhaupt nicht geeignet. Durchgelegen, knarzend, quitschend und zu klein. Das ganze Haus knarzt bei der kleinsten Bewegung, bei den ganzen Durchgangszimmern sehr ungünstig für jeden Schlaf. Es gibt kein Öl, Salz, Pfeffer, auch keine Streuer dafür, keinen Mixer, keine Mikrowelle, keine Bürste, keinen Schwamm, keine Stühle, keine "Möbel"...
