"A very good value for money hotel"

"This is a lower category hotel in the Melia chain, near 3* not the 4* and above we have stayed in previously and expected. The room was basic but had all amenities and the large bed was comfortable. General areas and pools were good amenities but the standard of cleanliness everywhere was low. The biggest disappointment was the restaurant, salad bar, breakfast cereals and cold food was decent. "Absolutely beautiful hotel! Food was great, pools were stunning and staff were lovely. The most peaceful and relaxing hotel I have stayed in. Definitely want to return here!! Parking at hotel is free so highly recommend a car to travel around. We did this and it was definitely worth it as there are beautiful places to see on the island and great restaurants. FANTASTIC!"

"Quick two night to enjoy a different part of the the island. It's a slightly dated and quirky hotel with friendly staff and great breakfasts. The gardens are a good feature but could use a bit of attention. The pools are not big but are pleasant, though can be crowded around. The spa is good but the pool isn't for swimming. All told, a lovely stay. Room was very good."

"Fantastic weekend getaway! Staff are truly friendly and professional and were able to help us with everything we needed for the weekend! Britanny at the Lago hotel side was so friendly with recommendations as well! The only downside is the state of the spa, which i was disappointed in the condition. It needs maintenance and upgrading. "Really nice hotel, family really enjoyed our stay. Breakfast was good quality (omelette station and fresh pastries personal favourites) , food at bar not over priced and good quality and location was perfect (close to many restaurants and beach not far). Indoor swimming was a great option as was heated (outdoor was not heated but kids didn’t seem to mind). We also enjoyed playing table tennis in between swimming and chilling at the pool.
