"The listing is accurate: 2 bed/1 bath, washer/dryer, evap. cooler/furnace. The evaporative cooler may not be for everyone, but I lived in AZ for a long time, so I'm fine with them. My partner said the mattress wasn't comfortable for him, but I was fine. I used the washer and dryer to do a small load while we were there. "It was great to have such a nice place to “come home” to. There was plenty of space for all and the view from the deck was amazing."

"Myself and 5 other friends stayed here for two nights to go skiing at Cuchara Mountain. The location was perfect, and the house was very nice. The fire pit outside was wonderful for roasting s'mores and the kitchen was perfect for us to make a nice dinner together. I would love to come back and do it again!"

"We loved staying at the School House. It was very comfortable, nicely furnished with fun memorabilia, and it is in a great location. The manager was very helpful. We would love to stay here again. "

"Our stay was wonderful. The property was exactly as pictured. There was more than enough supplies. The heat worked better than expected. The host was on point and responsive. I only have 1Suggestion - Please mention, in the instructions, to enter through the backyard gate and backdoor."

"They’ve taken an older place and made it really nice. The location isn’t scenic … it sits along the street in town. However, it does have a great fenced courtyard that is really enjoyable. Everything else about the place was significantly better than the average VRBO, particularly those in less touristy areas. We enjoyed our time. It was particularly clean for the “dusty” west. Keep that up … it’s a difference maker. "

"Clean and tidy older cabin with a magnificent view of the sunrise over Beckwith Lake. Nice quiet, rural area, not far from groceries, gas, and fun activities.Owner/manager is very helpful and answers messages in a timely manner."

There was a family of deer just beyond the patio. The pantry and fridge stock was a pleasant surprise. The main street was better than any we saw the whole way up from ATX.
