"Pro's and cons: Pro's first: good location, a short drive from Luino, a good sized lakeside town. You can take ferries from Luino all round the lake, including to the Borromean islands. "There are about 25 apartments in Colina Verde B - ours was closest to the pool and there was almost nobody else there - the pool was essentially our private pool. Nice clean place, beautiful setting, 7 minutes to the waterfront by car. Ascona is a lovely little place with a lively waterfront scene. All in all, ne of the best spots we have ever rented. "

"We were two couples and loved that it has two bathrooms, comfortable beds, air conditioning, washer and dryer, and beautiful views of Lake Maggiore. Grocery stores are close as well as the Grand Piazza. We were lucky to be there for the outdoor music festival called Moon and Stars. Great food, and people. Not alot of English speaking people, but our phone translator worked great. We fell in love with Locarno and this condo."

"Amazing view from the dining room, balcony, master bedroom, kitchen and terrace! Gerra beach / Lido is a hidden gem. Worth knowing that the pool is unseated (or cold) at 19 degrees centigrade. Construction site next door was happily not active. Some areas of garden are not child friendly as very steep drop. That all said a a great location and great views. "

"Our lovely and responsive host helped us by picking us up when we couldnt find a taxi.The house was large, very clean with all we needed, in a quiet area of Intra. The house is not in the centre, a 15 -29 minute stroll to the lakefront. Easy parking.The house would especially suit travellers with a car."
