"A typical Kiwi Bach, with fabulously comfortable beds!!We loved the privacy and serenity of this lovely spot.We will be back whenever we need to escape the city.Everything we needed in the way of utensils etc was there.It was such a treat to be able to light a fire on the beach, toast marshmallows and watch the sunset.Lovely free range eggs available too, so take some cash :)"

"The hostel is very unique--one has to see it to understand why "global" is a perfect name for it. The kitchen has everything one might need and more. The bathrooms are clean and updated. The owners are nice and clearly dedicated to providing a safe, welcoming and clean environment."

"This property is very unique and one used by at least some of the bicycle tours. There are sheds for charging e-bikes, cottages, rooms in the old Bank of New Zealand and the hotel. We stayed in a cottage which was excellent for our needs, being able to have breakfast, cook when we wanted or go to the Hotel restaurant which had very good food. We were within easy commuting distance to various sites and hiking trails, that were excellent."
