"Once we arrived, we understood why Martine recommended not using the driveway, it’s steep. The home has pretty much everything you need for a comfortable stay. The deck was nice for enjoying lake views, and having a dock was a bonus. One thing that would be nice is having access to an outdoor electrical plug to recharge our electric vehicle. "Great location, newly renovated house, management was very responsive and helpful, only issue is the sulphur smell in the water. It’s hard to drink the water or take shower with such a strong smell. Hope they fix it somehow. Otherwise an outstanding place with amazing views right from inside the house "

"This house has everything! We spent our whole week hanging out at the house, enjoying the view of the lake (from the living room, the deck, the hot tub). The rain kept us from adventuring out, but we stayed busy & entertained the whole time playing pool & games, cooking, watching mysteries and just enjoying time together. "Bobbi was an amazing host who even decorated the home for Christmas for us - including a Christmas tree.The home is even more beautiful than the pictures with stunning views of the lake and Mount Konocti from the living room, kitchen, and master bedroom. The large kitchen made cooking a Christmas dinner easy.I have multiple physical issues, and I have trouble sleeping as a result. The bed in the master bedroom was just perfect. "If you want to be away from the main town buzz, this is the place! Although it takes about 45 minutes to get to the state park, or a long time to get to any attractions, restaurants, etc., it provides the 'get-away' in a relaxing atmosphere. The house is big and nice and sleeps 12 on 2 floors. The kitchen is upstairs, so make sure you can go up and down the stairs several times. "I stayed over Christmas with my pup. It was a really large space for the two of us. I like the location, quiet and rural. There aren't any street lamps so once the sun goes down, it's pitch black. Would suggest bringing a headlamp for those with a dog. "
